To turn in community service hours for bright futures there is a few steps to follow. Before you do any service hours, you must turn in a Bright Futures Community Service Proposal (first document below) to Mrs. Hacker in the guidance office. If you have already begun your hours, you must turn in the Service Proposal BEFORE Christmas Break 2018. Mrs. Hacker will not accept hours done before a Proposal is turned in, unless it is turned in before Christmas break. Fill out the Proposal, and put "JROTC" as the Organization. Once you have done your hours, and would like to turn them in, use the second sheet. If you have purely JROTC Service hours, then put a note in the S3 box (by the supply closet in the JROTC room) asking for your hours and make sure they highlight true service hours and not JROTC hours. Count up your hours that are true service hours (the ones the S3 highlighted) and write it on the form. Also be sure to write in the service hour tracker to write "See Attached". You must turn in hours to be accepted for Bright Futures scholarship.
